I was born to Celesslie and Ramona Wilcots on June 1, 1987. My parents, both Baptist Christians, made sure I was in church at a young age. Not only did they have me in church, my mother and grandmother actually taught me to read using the Bible, so I have always known about the greatness of God. Celesdz grew up in Fairfield-Suisun and moved to Oakland with my parents as a teenager. Just days after graduating high school in 2005, I lost my father. This hit the family especially hard since I lost my grandfather just two years earlier. Shortly after, I started my first job with The Home Depot and have been in progressively responsible management positions within that company since. I married my dream girl, Dominique Nettles in 2007. In 2010, I graduated from ChabotCollege with two associate degrees, one in Fire Technology and another in Fire Prevention Inspection and have been pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a career firefighter. My first child was born in 2013, son Cornell, is a blessing and I am delighted with this experience as a father. Although I visited Revelation Christian Fellowship periodically since 2005; I decided to make it my church home in January 2013 and have experienced a whirlwind of positive change in my life since then.

Although I have always known the greatness of God and feared Him, it took for me to go through life bumping my head a few times to see GOD as the father that He is to us all. I have gained a better understanding of what God wants from me as a man through the ministry and in doing so it has brought me closer to true righteousness. In life doing the right thing is difficult when you have a worldly view of what right is but when you lean on the Word of God you are shown the way. Being both a husband and a father myself; has given me deeper insight and puts how good He is at this whole “daddy” thing into perspective. As a man of God, I have direction and purpose for myself and my family. God has brought us closer together and life is better than I ever could have imagined; the problems that once seemed big are now so much smaller because of Him.
Why did you make the decision to be a part of this ministry?
I became a member of Revelation Christian Fellowship because of my experience with the Men of Integrity. I came for Bible study; little did I know it was the first Men of Integrity meeting of the year. I was given the opportunity to hear all that these men of God had planned for the year and it was then that I realized God was giving me a reminder of what a man is through His eyes. The following Sunday, I joined Revelation Christian Fellowship. Since then, every aspect of my life has been enriched thanks to the wisdom and grace of GOD, Luke 11:9-13.
What do you love most about Revelation Christian Fellowship?
The thing that I love most about Revelation Christian Fellowship is my church family. I love my pastor; he is relatable and always real. For me, it is important to have a pastor who is able to voice a message in a way that I can clearly understand it. I appreciate the team that he and Dr. Jeanne make. The music ministry is also a blessing from God, the brothers in the orchestra put a boogie in my heart and the voices of the praise team compels me to give God vocal praise in unison. I have learned a lot from the Revelation Christian Fellowship church family since becoming a member. Lessons from Pastor’s sermons, from the team of reverends, the couple’s ministry, CSI, MOI and the rest of the congregation have truly resonated with me. Revelation Christian Fellowship will be a part of my and my family’s life forever.
